Stock stolen, I'm banning some of you

Journal Entry: Fri Dec 14, 2007, 8:47 PM

{New News}

Hi everyone. I just have to say that I am going to be blocking some people who watch me who have no galleries or journals but just have an empty user page. My resources are showing up on an Arabic website and I have not given them permission to repost my stock.

There are tons of other stuff on their stolen from people on deviantART and everyone should go over to the site and check them out. to find a link to the page go to the rip report forums here on deviantart. There are about three threads about this website. check it out.

YOU MAY NOT REPOST MY IMAGES ON OTHER WEBSITES. IF YOU DO I WILL FIND YOU AND I PROMISE TO MAKE YOU CRY

That's bloody awfull, I found some pictures that were stolen from artists such as Princess Of Shadows and lady-Dementia on a website and they were being sold! >=O That was a while ago though.
What website is this one you're talking about?
Sorry about the stolen stock :(

It's here: [link] To browse for your stolen pictures, go to the links column on the far right. There towards the bottom there is a list in Arabic and in English saying "textures, PSD, Patterns... etc." and click on one and start browsing through hundreds of pages of stolen resources. Unfortunately, even if you find your stock being stolen, even if you go through the long pain staking process of signing up to the site in Arabic, even if you us the tech support email link provided for you in the automatic email they send to you when you register and even if you talk to others on the website, your resources will not be removed so look for your art, know it's there and make a list of links to the stolen art because I am going to talk over an idea with some other people of what might be done about the site and if it's a go, we may need people to support it.

Oh man! That sucks. My page is pretty much blank, but I put something up recently just to show I really exist.

That's cool. I might as well unblock the people I blocked though since they can still visit my page and see and download everything :shrug:

Block people only keeps them from making comments, not viewing.

I would contact *RippedArtTaskForce for help with having your images removed from other sites. They got one of my images removed that was ripped.

I thought that that might be the case. A long time ago some one was being immature and blocked me and I was able to look at their page but not comment. I thought it might have changed since then. Is there any way to keep certain people from actually viewing your page?

I sent RATF a note 2 weeks ago and they haven't gotten to the notes yet. I figure if I want to get it done I need to just try and figure it out myself seeing as how they are probably swamped over there and I don't believe they have an Arabic translator.

It is really challenging when the sites are in particular locations. I guess it ultimately comes down to who hosts the server. Hope you can get your work removed.

I'm afraid it's probably going to have to come to contacting the host and server to get the site removed :no:
