yeah it really does. And I don't really have the time to work on trying to advertise it since school has picked up and I'm working more. Also my mom had suregery so I am doing extra chores areound the house and the moment I don't have anything to do I am so tired all I want to do is sit down and rest my feet while watching tv.
aww, seems like you got a lot on your plate at the moment! maybe you should cancel the contest and do it some other time. hope all goes well with your mum, just hang in there and be strong! you can do it!!!

I can't do that though, people have entered the contest and there are over 20 prize donators and there are judges all lined up! I will however extend the contest. If you feel up to it, any promoting (word of mouth, journals...) the contest it would be much appreciated. I initially had the contest open to all art mediums but since the prizes are mostly made up of exclusive stock, it would be kind of a let down if the winner couldn't use half the prizes they got.
I'm sorry about the problem with your mom, and the extra chores it means. OK about the postponement, I will add a note in my May Journal. I am updating it now and though I don't have too many visitors, it always helps. Have other people I know that are interested in Surreal art who may agree to promote it too. just quick questions, it can be all forms of art, right? doesnt have to be particularly photography/photo manip? sorry, i'm not quite clear on that part and if I want to join, do I need to send u a note saying that I want to join, or do i need to wait until I finish my piece then send u a note with my entry in it? and when is the deadline? thanx before

Thanks for the kind words, m mom hasn't been having the greatest recovery. I will be journaling about that though on my other account shortly.
And yes, other art forms ccan enter, but you muxt still incorperate a resource of mine (like as a reference picture for what you do or something) but keep in mind that a majority of the prizes for the contest are exclusive stocks and I don't want you to enter and then realize that most of the prizes are stock packs. So check out the prize list And yes, just send me a note with a link to your entry.
